Exclamation Trading companies

Have any of you worked with any of the trading companies that exist? There are some organizations now that set up trade systems between companies for good they would need.

Small Example: Metal fabrication shop, Accounting Office, Office Supply Store, Metal Supply

These guys don't buy goods, they trade (you can buy too based on surplus need, but all in all your trade value goes into a pot/trade pool of sorts I think).

Metal shop makes shelves and metal tables.
Trades these, in order to secure accounting services, metal supplies, and office supplies.

Accounting Office trades services for office supplies.

Metal Supply trades metal for office supplies and accounting services.

Office Supply trades, possibly for accounting services, but also for custom or stock metal shelving and desks to resell to other companies outside the pool.

Its a very interesting concept, and I am very interested into the breadth of the market and services that could be offered within a trading circle. Also, how do "trades" get recorded for purposes of the government? Hmmm.
