I just promoted being a marketing in a lighting,lasershow, and sound
system equipment company. this is a national compay (sometime they sale
the products and sometime they just rent the products),quite big I
mean.
But FYI they just put in marketing into the structure of company,
Basicly when they choosed me being marketing,that means that I'm the
1st marketing in that big company. so you got what I mean guys...???
(this company already run the business arround 4 years and there's no
marketing in a structure so they really independent or have special job
description with the management)

Then my question is...what I suppose or what your idea guys for me to
do the 1st thing to make my marketing plann in this special company and
consider the company products also.....?

I really need your idea guys and thanks before....

I am assuming that English is not your native language. Where are you from?

As to your question, please read the tools I have used to achieve success
over a long, long time. It is down-to-earth, non academic, practical, step
by step procedure for identifying your market and then developing a plan of
action to get you there through sales and promotional efforts.

It is free, there are no hidden things offered for sale. I have been well
paid for it through the California Colleges as we developed the Intensive
Entrepreneurial Training Program some years ago. It has even received good
reviews from some of the experts in this newsgroup from time to time.

Other than our grasp of English, we are in very similar situations. I
have also been promoted to the only marketing position in my firm.
Before, it was just a guy who knew his way around a computer, not
really a marketing "guy". I am also brand new to the industry (how I
got the job is a whole nother story). The only thing I can tell you is
to learn as much about your customers and your product as you can.
Then, just put 1 and 1 together. Visualize what it is that your product
does for the customer, in terms of what is really valuable; emotion,
excitement, profit, and in a lot of cases, what is valuable to your
customer's customers. If you have something to offer that will make
someone else money, that is a very strong angle to start with.

One thing I would suggest is to get a beginners book on the subject of
marketing. I am currently reading a few books on the subject.
Overall, I feel that Christian had the general concept correct.
Determine your customer segment and cater to them and don't forget your
existing customers. One thing I've been reading a lot of is that
people generally like things for free. This is still true with
business to business marketing.

The first question is, are you marketing to the General Public (i.e.,
weddings, parties, etc) or Corporations (live events, meetings, bands, etc)
or both?
