Hello all and thanks for allowing me to join the forum. I have been reading a little about the "public domain" ebooks and content. I saw the ads for Yanik Silver and a few others but never saw any hard facts. Like you said Kim, "If it looks and sounds like a scam..."
Can any of you help me though? I think the idea of utilizing public domain content is a good one. I run several sites on fitness and weight loss. I am always looking for good content for my visitors. Everytime I do a search for PD content I end up with pages of Ads for programs. Can any of you maybe point me in the right direction? I appreciate the help.

Using public domain content is not a bad idea, the problem with it is that since it's so easy there will be a lot of people already using it. And, if you find good public domain content that nobody's used, and you become successful with it, people will copy you and you can't do anything about it because it's public domain. Other than that, and if you keep that in mind when forming your business plan, it's not a bad idea at all.

Thank you and I agree strongly with you. I guess I just feel that it may be a starting point. Since it is PD content, if it is what I am looking for, I can integrate it with my own information to make it more effective and unique. Are there any good, reliable sources out there for PD content other than literary works?
