Yeah, you can sell public domain books. Just about every copy of the authors I listed above is sold this way at your local bookstores. This is why there might be 5 different copies of Romeo and Juliet on bookstore shelves.

People will buy them because of value offered. For instance, I have the complete works of Shakespeare in leather bindings and gold gilt edging, cost me $39.95 at the bookstore. I can also get this on the Internet. However eBooks don't provide for the comfort of a real book yet. You can't curl up easily with your laptop next to the fire and feel the texture of paper in your hands. Check out www.gutenburg.org for an extensive library.

When you say they make additions to PD products, essentially you get it, add a commentry at the beginning of it, get it published somewhere and sell it off with edited by *** or something similar?

I understand the psychology of laziness, most people don't want to look for thing they prefer to be handed it.

Another thought - if you modify a PD work, do you then have copyright on it?

Thank you, will do. I didn't realise you could do this - I guess most people don't. Drop shipping (still to search on that) and this may mean she is able to get some income happening.

Thank you kindly

Yes. You can add value to it by either having a intro or by formatting it better or simply adding additional bonus material.

I'll give you an example - Yanik Silver and Peter Woodhead sell 4 PD books at www.longlostmarketingsecrets.com for $47 without a reseller license and $199 for a reseller license!

All that they are doing is just Marketing and doing it very-very well. I would highly recommend that you take a look at the site and how they are doing it. Also signup for their free autoresponder course, it does contain some excellent copywriting tips!

Yeah it looks like one of those "get rich quick" scams. You know the Cory Rudel type of scam. "Make million on the Internet by buying my crap".

The name Yanik Silver means absolutely nothing to me, sorry.
