| Re: magazine printers Hey Red, You didn't say why. Are you thinking about starting your own magazine? Check your local print shops -- if they don't do it they'll know who does. Be sure to tell them if you want full-color glossy, or just newsprint with a glossy cover, or whatever, and how many 11 X 17 pages (folded in half and stapled) you think it will be. And be sure you're sitting down when they tell you the price. In case you hadn't heard, all the big mags are complaining about losing money, so think long and hard before you dive into this. Some print magazines are changing to online only just to stay in business. You will probably find mailing each one will cost more than printing it did. Lining up advertisers, especially for a start up, would be a challenge. What are you going to put in it? How are you going to find subscribers? | Be sure to check around we did the printing for a political campaign this time and what we charged were 50% what the local print shops wanted. I would search on google I had to research this once for another project and found a few places that print them. PM me if you still want someone I'll see what I can dig up.
