It appeals to our habits (used to watching tv), it's auditory and visual, and it doesn't require reading (8th grade mentality). You can embed your videos into your facebook and myspace pages, blog entries, websites, and content sharing sites. While visitors can't click on the video itself, you can include your URL at the end of the video or on the bottom corner of the video as it flows. Think of the branding power a series of videos would create. Check out the blendtec "will it blend?" videos on YouTube. Groups on social media sites have been created as a result and sales are up.
