| Code of Conduct for AdStrategist Forums Welcome to AdStrategist Forums, your online discussion forum to talk about online & offline marketing, advertising and public relations. In order to help us maintain AdStrategist Forums as 'high quality' discussion forum about marketing, advertising and public relation, we request our members to follow the follows rules: 1. Respect is the keyword. - We do not allow any sort of disrespect or a deliberate personal attack of any kind on another member or a group of members. Having a healthy debate on a difference of opinion is fine, but if it turns into a fight, then its gone too far. In short, we expect every member to respect other members of the community in the same way as they would expect to be respected. 2. Certain topics need not be discussed. - While we encourage discussion about a wide range of subjects, there are certain areas which elicit more animosity and subsequently far more flames. As a result, we ask that discussions involving politics and nationalities or anything of a ***ual nature be reserved for other message boards that are better venues for these topics. No post should exceed a ?PG? rating. Profane, insulting or mean spirited language is simply not allowed here and neither is any sort of harassment or bullying. Threats of any sort are grounds for an immediate ban. 3. Stay Legal - Posts advocating or condoning illegal activity are not allowed on AdStrategist Forums Also, promoting any sort of spamming operation (not limited to email, mobile phones, instant messengers etc.) is expressively prohibited. If any member is found to indulge in such activity then he/she would not only be banned from this site but also reported to the concerned authorities. 4. Not Spamming here - While a commercial interest may respond to a request for information, they are expressly forbidden from starting posts or sending unsolicited private messages about their goods or services. Also, we do not allow any sort of Affiliate/Referral Links to be posted on AdStrategist Forums. A user may only include their company?s URL within their signature line. If you would like to advertise on AdStrategist Forums then please contact us by email at adspacedeals@adstrategist.com. Please note that we only allow advertising of non-competing products and services. 5. Signature Usage - The use of signatures is allowed here, however, it must be setup using the edit signature link in the control panel and must not be included in your posts manually. a. The maximum number of lines in the signature should not exceed 4. b. Using text larger than 3 is not allowed in signatures. c. Images are disabled in the signature. d. The text in your signature must abide by all other rules. 6. Your Membership here - In order to register for a membership on AdStrategist Forums you must be over 13, read the ?Terms of Service? (TOS) and agree to abide by them. All membership information must be accurate and belong to the person registering. Invalid, incomplete, or falsified information will result in the immediate termination of all membership privileges for that user and, possibly a permanent ban restricting the member from using any of AdStrategist?s services at any time. The creation of multiple accounts for one person is strictly prohibited. If you have lost your password or other membership details then please contact us at help@adstrategist.com. Membership at AdStrategist Forums is a privilege, not a right. We reserve the right to deny service to any person at any time with or without cause or notification. 7. The community moderation. - Some members have a special status of Advisor or Administrator and they have the right to moderate the discussions at AdStrategist Forums as they deem necessary. The moderators have the last word in any dispute and are responsible for interpreting the TOS. At their discretion, when they deem it in the best interest of Marketing-Talk they may edit or delete avatars, pictures, posts and threads, and even ban users when necessary. Also, moderation is not open for public debate. If you feel that you have been treated unfairly then please contact the concerned advisor or one of the administrators privately (using Private Message system) instead of making a thread about it in the public areas of the forum. You can send us your suggestions and ideas by either posting a new thread in the Forum Admin section or using the contact us link at the bottom of the page. We reserves the right to add to or amend the TOS without any prior warning or the mutual consent of its users. By completing your registration with us, you agree that your AdStrategist Forums participation will conform to any such additions or amendments to these Terms of Service. |
