I am a paper bag manufacturer from India. My product range includes kraft/Duplex/Art , laminated/ not laminated paper bags. We are trying to expand into export market and looking for buyer/ marketing agent in UK, USA, Canada and other markets. Our pricing is compititive and our products meet the quality standard. However I dont have much idea about how to market it in international market so that we can reach the buyers and marketing agents. Can anyone help me with that? To get business in other countries they have to know you exist. One of the best ways to do this is get listed in B2B trade directories. Importer in other countries search these for companies such as yourself and if you can supply what they want at the right price they will contact you.

A good place to start is in the Yahoo B2B trade directory.

One of the best ways is to join an industry trade association here in the US. Many offer ways of advertising, offer training on how to market etc. They will offer you a wealth of information if they are any good.

I would go to the Federal Trade Commission website they have a lot of information on how to trade within the US and other informatin which I think will be helpful to you - good luck.

Try going to google or yahoo user groups you may find people interested in your product there
