This only stands to reason as the US still has the largest number of Internet Users of any country in the world with China being a close second. To counteract this though, large ISP's like AOL are reporting reduced incoming spam across the board.

AOL reports the decrease is all spam but they have also been losing subscribers to broadband providers as well.
I don't get much spam so can't track it personally. I took my email address off the Internet two years ago, changed some email addresses that I use, started sending catchalls to the abyss and abandoned an email which was giving me the most spam. Now I might get 400 spam emails a month where my legitimate email traffic is up to 20,000 a month because of the Yahoo! Groups I am on.
