I am finally bringing some of my websites to level that traffic is high enough to offer paid advertising. phpAdsnew is kind of overkill at this level. Are there any free and easy to use banner rotation scripts that can be recommended?

What do you use for publishing ads?

I personally use PhpAdsNew for all my sites and indeed recommend it for you too... while it may look overwhelming at first but it is indeed quite simple. As far as alternatives to PAN are concerned, I would leave this question for someone else to answer as I have not researched into this matter

I'm getting sick of these threads. I wholely agree with the topic starter and I don't really have anything to offer yet. I'm using phpAdsNew as well and find it overly complex for simple things a single publisher might do, but I still haven't found a really solid replacement yet. I'm looking, though.
