3 major search engines or just one

We have been debating as to whether we invest and market to google, msn and yahoo customers or just google. Any suggestions? We are new to the online advertising world.

Re: 3 major search engines or just one

I would start off with google and then spend some time getting to know the other ones and do some testing as to what products respond best to advertising

I think it depends on the product you are selling if it is a very niche market you may want to advertise in all three, if it is a broad market you may want to start off with one or two ads

It can never hurt to reach out to as many forms of advertising as possible. If you have the funds try all three!

My advise to you would be try some of the small online advertising firm first. I think they offer higher ROI then Goggle MSN or Yahoo.
