You would think that Advertising would be a much bigger market overall. $102 Billion is paltry when compared to the economy of the U.S. (I am guessing that is all that is being tracked here). Over last weekend, consumers spent $228 Billion on gifts for the holiday season. Total sales for November and December are expected to top $2.3 Trillion in the United States this year. And yet, advertising sales is less than 1/5 of that for 3/4 of the year? Pretty amazing. |
