I really don't think they will be able to surpass Google. Google is now a firmly established family name, the default website on many shipped computers, very simple and easy to use plus gives you the best results.

Microsoft would have to spend a heck of a lot of money to even get close to Google, imo. I know I will still stick with Google.

Maybe if MS can get their search to be the default homepage on new computers from Dell and other major brands, but i'm not sure they could.

But, MSN is established, and does get a lot of visitors.
