Old fart, new member

Well, I've been lurking around this forum for a few days now, to get a feel for what it's all about. I'm Gordon, originally a Vancouverite (Canada) but now living in the very south of Mexico. I keep retiring, and then I get bored, so I start another company. This time I've decided on a Mexican dude ranch near the USA border, with a difference. We're going to be giving away blocks of 160 acres to those who would like to become timeshare resort developers, without the usual major expense. And, we'll be giving away one acre to anyone who refers a client to us who acquires one of these blocks. If you're curious, check out http://www.globalexpo.com/Rancho_Vista_Hermosa.html.

My background over the past 40 some odd years has been mostly with starting companies and taking them public, and in the later years concentrating on helping companies and individuals move their operations offshore. I am also the founder of GeoAccess Communications Inc., which was the first company to provide local-call dialup connections to the Internet in 108 countries. I continue to head up the Sharpe Consulting Group and GlobalExpo (helping companies develop international contacts).

I like this site, as it covers so many different aspects of business, and the input from the members is truly educational. I'm looking forward to helping those who I can.

Gordon
