My company will have its first christmas party this year. We are trying to determine whether we can give door prizes such as gift certificates or small electronics items and if so, are these items tax deductible for the business and tax free for the employees who receive them? Is there a limit to the value of the prizes or gifts we give our employees in order to qualify for tax deduction and not be taxed for the employees?
