Where adblockers dare!

Well, it's not just popup blockers that are gaining popularity but even the software with complete weed out any online advertisements. What's worse - some of these vendors have these adblockers enabled by default [Norton Internet Security Suite for example].

This is certainly a big problem for publishers, who depend on ad revenue, but a bigger problem for advertisers!!!

This issue has been discussed to death, in context of alternative revenue sources, at some other forums and the conclusion that came there was that people should focus on ecommerce! I have to absolutely agree with this - Only ad revenue is never a viable business model!

But there is another side to this story - How do you advertise your eBusiness?!?!


A good friend of mine, Mattias, has written a long entry about his views on the future of online advertising in his blog. I fully agree with his opinion - the ads on the internet are being shown at the wrong time.
