| Youtube The WSJ had an article yesterday about using Youtube as a marketing tool for businesses. Of the 501 *****s that were surveyed, 59% had viewed a video ad on the internet of those 43% checked out the website, 22% requested information about the product and 18% went to the store to check it out and 15% made a purchase - what do you think? Is this a great medium for small businesses?

| Re: Youtube I strongly feel video will be the next biggest wave for internet marketing. It appeals to our habits (used to watching tv), it's auditory and visual, and it doesn't require reading (8th grade mentality). You can embed your videos into your facebook and myspace pages, blog entries, websites, and content sharing sites. While visitors can't click on the video itself, you can include your URL at the end of the video or on the bottom corner of the video as it flows. Think of the branding power a series of videos would create. Check out the blendtec "will it blend?" videos on YouTube. Groups on social media sites have been created as a result and sales are up.
