googling for link:www.chembuddy.com gives 29 links.
googling for "http://www.chembuddy.com" gives 3 hits.
googling for "www.chembuddy.com" gives 87 hits.

What is a link? When url is accepted as a link, when it is listed
(and counted) as a link?

Apparently google is not too effective at indexing, as I have
posted several hundred messages at several chemical forums
since February and only some of them are listed,
but that's another story.

It links them if as and when it feels like, Borek, to stop link
spamming by people who post several hundred messages at related
forums.

These are all moderated forums (I am even moderating one of these by
myself) and links are part of signature, so no spamming. Spending two
hours a day answering chemistry questions to kids that don't know how
to do their homework but they are too lazy to open textbook is rather
hard work - and not paying well if less then every tenth signature
is indexed and of those only every third counts as a link

And the question remains - what is considered a link by google?
Why some indexed urls don't count as links?

Hi Borek,

Just a note to let you know I have forgot about ya. I took a quick look at
your site and noticed a couple of things. I am not done however as I have
been busy going through the attic boxes(which has to be done soon as it is
starting to get to hot). Anyway, if I use the contact on the site is it OK
to reach you that way?
