New to the forum and I searched.

I am looking for a way to send out a fair amount of emails at once. This is for customers of ours only and would be sent when we get new products in, etc.

Are there any programs that can be bought that will allow integration with outlook. I looked into using just outlook and it seems to difficult for some of the staff just to add when new addresses are given.

Most autoresponders have a system in place where you can upload files to them - autoreponders are great for regular newsletter emails because it takes care of the opt out issues and can be set up in advance. They are also good for training programs i.e. sending out several emails periodically on a particular topic ie. once a week. It seems like you want to just send out a periodic email to your clients buying an autoresponder maybe over doing it. All you have to do in outlook is put the emails in the bcc so other will not see the email and then email it out in outlook unless you are trying to do something more significant.

I agree I would not look to an autoresponder for your needs they are fairly simple I would look at a shareware program to help eliminate some of the administrative tasks.

Your hosting company should offer free autoresponders I looked at trying to work out my hosts autoresponder, but in the end decided it was better to pay a little bit each month to a service to do it for me.

Most offer a month's free trial so you can try before you buy.

Remember to set up a test so you can see what your customers are going to get before you start using it.
