We have had several less than successful hires of our more junior consultants and I was wondering how successful you have been at attracting and retaining junior talent?

Since so much of our analysis focuses on numbers we look for someone with a strong analytical background and someone who has a personality sometimes it is a tough combination to find

We only hire MBAs and because of our focus on technology we also look for people with technical experience or business analyst experience - it has worked for us so far though it appears we do not pay as much as the big boys so we have lost some talent because of benefits

We do the same, and have had reasonable success
