Drafting a response to a RFP

I dont know how successful you have been but I have spent some time on 2 rfps to try to win business and in the end I never got the business. What has your experience been? Has it been worth the time for you? Any suggestion would be helpful. Thanks.

Re: Drafting a response to a RFP

We have not had much luck with RFPs either we decided this year that we would not do them anymore unless we had a strong relationship with the client. We felt we needed an inside coach to help us shape the rfp without that you just never know what is going on

Re: Drafting a response to a RFP

We purchased RFP software that allows us to click and paste the answers to the most common questions very easily so after you write it once it makes it much easier. Because of this our proposal tends to be more in depth than our competitors and we tend to win about 35% of the proposals that we write.

What was the name of the software you bought? Are you happy with it?
