We are thinking about upgrading our PCs and were wondering other small business owners thoughts as to whether you would wait to but a PC with Vista on it or perhaps buy it now and upgrade later - any suggestions?

It comes out in a month and is suppose to have a better security framework. I would wait so you don't have to buy a new OS system.

Right now you can buy some fairly decent computers for really cheap that are upgradeable for FREE! from the pc manufacturer. I think HP, Dell, Toshiba, and Gateway are all doing that. The problem is you get the version of Vista that the OEM (original equipment manufacture) puts on there... usually bogged down with a bunch of extra stuff you dont need. Another issue with this is that you dont get to choose your Vista you want... for example "Vista Business".
Right now businesses can purchase Vista... as of November 30th I think. But you have to buy 5 or more licenses.
