Has anyone done any research on shopping carts for a website?

We currently use both shopsite and productcart and are much happier with product cart.

We have used some of the open source shopping carts which are free and as long as you are not doing anything that complicated they should work for you.

We use Shopsite as well and although they get highly rated we feel that their system is cumbersome and we are looking for an alternative
