Experience with VOIP

Has anyone used Voice Over Internet Protocol for their business. The research I did said that the business was still spotty - what has been your experience?

Re: Experience with VOIP

They are coming out with phones that look like regular phones and they continue to work on their technology. I think in a year or two it will be worth switching but I would not do it now for my business line.

Re: Experience with VOIP

We use it for our business line and so far no problems. Granted we don't spend alot of time on the phone, but enough that we got a seperate business line from our home line. Oh we use Vonage.

Re: Experience with VOIP

We also use Vonage for our business and have not had any problems but it is hard to know if it is "up" all the time. I would not have installed it if we had a high volume of calls though
