Website Hosting

In the past we have used traditional hosting companies i.e. lunarpages, network solutions. Give the number of sites that we have (over 20) I was wondering if anyone has opened a resellers account to save money on hosting and if so who you used and whether or not it is worth the investment.

Re: Website Hosting

We have opened a resellers account at gatorhost which you should consider if you have a lot of sites. Most host providers offer them and if they are fairly simple any host will do look for an inexpensive one with good reviews.

Re: Website Hosting

You have to be careful who you are hosting with or you will find you are hosting with a resellers reseller. Make sure they have a toll free number.

Re: Website Hosting

If you go on NamePros.Com - Buy, Sell, & Discuss Domain Names I think they have a forum dedicated to hosting reviews. You may want to try there.

Re: Website Hosting

We use a small firm called www.hostonsite.com because of a previous business relationship but they do a good job for us. I think most web host providers are pretty good if you are not loading flash, or have a big database, or a forum.

Re: Website Hosting

We have set up an account at HOSTGATOR WEB HOSTING - cPanel, Reseller, and Dedicated Website Hosting frankly we only have our accounts on the site so I am not sure how good they are because many of our sites are simple. But we did a lot of research and they seemed to be the name that popped up the most and they had a favorable reputation.
