Re: Hosting

We use hostgator.

I wouldn't recommend Godaddy.com - that are great until you have a problem and want to switch then it is a nightmare.

Re: Hosting

I used GoDaddy.com for a long time, and everything was great. But within the past year, I've noticed they've become less reliable and I've had a bit of downtime lately.

Although I didn't run into any problems moving away from them. I'm still keeping my domains there, at least for now.

This month, I've been moving most of my sites to HostGator and it's been great so far. Lots more flexibility on some things, and nice to avoid the constant barrage of upsell you get with GoDaddy.

The only problem I've just run into with HostGator is that they don't seem to let you change PHP settings, at least not easily. Only a minor annoyance so far.

We use BlueHost and their service is a good one. You should try them... I have a biannual plan and everything is as good as a friend told me.
