I have a client that was interested in starting a franchise and I could not be much help to them and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a franchise broker, thanks in advance.

I cannot but I can offer you some advice. I would interview them like a real estate broker it works much the same way. I would ask questions like:

-Can you provide me a list of the franchisors you represent
-How long have you been in the business
-How many of these franchises have you sold
-Ask for references
-Why should I use your services

I would recommend you use a local one they know the area and where franchises do well or not they also know the locations of potential competitors

I agree most brokers can sell most of the franchises finding someone who knows your area is critical.
