just starting small business from home

Hi,
I am new to the game and would appreciate any advice and tips from others. I am an independent distributor for Shaklee. I also have several websites.
Thanks,
Janelle

You may want to get some SEO work done on your site to get some organic traffic. Remind me what Shaklee sell is it nutrition products? With some more color on your business we could provide you some more support.

I agree. I haven't really looked into search engines but it is on my agenda for today! Shaklee sells nutritional products, vitamins, cleaning products, personal care, beauty and weight loss. All are non-toxic.

Here are a couple thoughts:

One of the things you may want to consider is developing strategic partnerships with other complementary businesses for example if there is a fitness site without nutrutional products you could place your products on their site and pay them a small fee.

One thing that I have never seen but could be a great idea for fitness enthusiasts are gift baskets for them

I Think if your are new to online business, then you must limit to just one website at the begening and market and prote your business to forum and also buy targeted advertising.

2: review what your doing well and analise where traffic comeing from and identify what you have done to gain this customer to your sute.

You can do this easily and for free by setting up a Google Analytics account (Google Analytics) and inserting the code they give you into your web page's HTML. That gives you a lot of tracking data.
