Heres an idea

What if before you went into Home Depot or a grocery stock you ordered the stuff online - when you got there you would get a device that would tell you exactly where that item is?

Re: Heres an idea

Man, I was thinking of that lately.Sounds like very interesting idea. Some sort of portable GPS device that will guide you to the self.

Re: Heres an idea

I think this is a great idea but it may have to wait for a radio chip to be installed on all of the products

I don't think Home Depot can afford it in this market

Re: Heres an idea

Sounds like "curbside to go" at Applebee's. I like the idea. Perfect for the busy DIY'er. Better yet, the products would be ready at the register for you.

Re: Heres an idea

Great idea. Have you approached a Lowes, Home Depot or even a local grocery store to test it. You would also probably need to joint venture with some technology company for the device. Keep us posted.

Re: Heres an idea

How about taking it one step further! Instead of going to the store to pick it up. They deliver it to you! Great idea, huh.
